Before we start, we would like to introduce you to our methodology which we use to determine the top 10. To create the ranking of the top 10 TikTokers, we filtered the Kolsquare database of over three million KOLs with more than 5,000 followers on the platform; then we looked at their credibility score and their job descriptions, namely global influencers, bloggers, or videographers.
- The Kolsquare credibility score shows how trustworthy an influencer is in the eyes of the respective audience, with a higher percentage indicating a larger number of real followers (as opposed to fake or bought followers, for example). We rate a score of 70 (out of 100) or higher as good, better, etc.
- The engagement rate measures the effectiveness of influencers based on the reactions, comments, shares, likes, and similar interactions per post and is therefore an important indicator for brands.
- Earned media value (EMV), which indicates the value of advertising and reporting, is also relevant in influencer marketing and can reflect KOL rates on platforms such as TikTok or Instagram Reels.
Another small note: If platforms are not listed for some influencers, this means that they cannot be found on the respective network or that there is no further information about them.
