List of the top 10 biggest TikTokers worldwide: Our methodology

Before we start, we'll give you a quick guide to the metrics we pulled from our database for each social media personality:

  • Kolsquare Credibility Score: This data point estimates an influencer's trustworthiness. Higher numbers indicate that most of their audience comprises real people (as opposed to fake or bought followers, for example). We consider a good Credibility Score to be anything over 70 (out of 100).
  • Engagement rate: To determine the engagement of influencers' audiences, the engagement rate calculates how many of their followers interact (comments, shares, likes, etc.) per post.
  • Earned media value (EMV): This estimates how much the buzz generated by an influencer's content would cost through traditional marketing channels.

Our methodology? We filtered the Kolsquare database containing data about over three million KOLs to show only TikTok influencers with a Credibility Score above 70. Then we sorted by community size to discover the most popular creators.

A deeper dive into UK and global TikTok creators

How to run an influencer marketing campaign with famous influencers TikTokers?

TikTok influencer marketing connects you with much of the UK population. It's also a bridge to cynical Gen Z audiences, as 76% of people aged between 18 and 24 use the app.

In addition, while younger demographics dominate TikTok, its addictive algorithm appeals to all generations. More than 17% of users are aged over 45.

Marketers have a huge opportunity to reach large audiences where they're highly engaged and active. Below are some stats about TikTok:

TikTok users value genuine and relatable content, which is why influencers are authentic and relatable.

To run a successful campaign, follow these tips:

  • Define objectives and the target audience: Do you want increased brand awareness, sales, or brand lift? Defining some specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals keeps your campaign on track. In addition, pinpoint your target audience. This will affect which influencers you work with and what content you create.
  • Choose the right influencers: Choose influencers whose followers match your target audience's demographics and location. Look beyond follower counts to assess engagement rates and content quality. An influencer marketing tool like Kolsquare streamlines influencer selection with an extensive database, AI-driven search, and more.
  • Collaborate authentically: Partner with influencers whose values align with your brand's. Give them creative freedom to ensure content feels genuine and engaging. Creators tend to know their audiences best, so collaborate on ideas and provide a brief, but don't go for overly scripted or high-production videos on this channel.
  • Take advantage of TikTok's unique features: Consider hashtag challenges, live streams, and short, snappy videos to captivate audiences. TikTok's algorithm analyses each video's engagement rate after it's posted rather than analysing follower size, which makes it possible to go viral on a budget
  • Measure and optimise: To increase visibility, you can boost influencer posts with TikTok's paid advertising options. In addition, track performance with KPIs like engagement rate, conversions, and EMV to refine strategies for future campaigns.

Smart influencer selection: How to find TikTok influencers?

The best way is to use an influencer marketing platform like Kolsquare, which allows you to filter and search through a database with details about millions of content creators.

The alternative option is manual hashtag searches and analysing content. But this method makes it hard to get granular and answer key questions like: Who is the influencer's audience? Is their audience engaged and authentic? What were the results of previous collaborations? Without answers to these questions, you're marketing in the dark.

A platform spotlights everything you need to know about influencers, including:

  • Audience demographics (location, age group, and languages)
  • Influencer metrics (engagement rates, credibility scores, and compliance score)
  • Past collaboration data (brands worked with, content results, and content examples)

These insights ensure you match with creators capable of running top campaigns. Want to make finding perfect-fit influencers easier? Book a Kolsquare demo today.

Who is the highest-paid influencer in the United Kingdom?

  • ecommerce businesses, such as fashion or makeup lines
  • podcasts, events, and appearances
  • donations through sites like Patreon

There are many ways for influencers to earn a wage. However, creators with high reach and engagement tend to make a lot of money. That's why it's theorised that established creators who are big on multiple social media platforms, like Zoe Sugg, are some of the highest earners. Her rise to fame began in 2009, and now she has a massive following of over 25 million.

However, the Kolsquare TikTok Calculator allows you to determine the average amount an influencer charges for each sponsored post.
